The PTA is comprised of many positions that all make equally important contributions.
The listing below provides brief descriptions of these positions. These positions require a 1-year minimum commitment.
Executive Board: Responsible for meeting PTA fundraising goal through various fundraising events. Positions include President, Vice-President, Treasurer (2-year commitment), and Secretary.
Marketing/PR: Promotes school and PTA through advertising media including print & retail merchandise. Positions include graphic design, merchandising, copywriting, and photography.
Directory Coordinator: Responsible for production of School Directory, which includes updating individual family contact information & general school information, and delivering copies for distribution at the General Class Coffee. Computer experience necessary.
Lunchroom Coordinator: Creates & manages lunchroom volunteer schedule. Acts in a support role as the main contact with lunch providers, as well as seeks additional lunch options for the school to offer.
Event Chairperson: Organizes & runs a PTA fundraiser. This is a shared role along with managing a team off volunteers.
Early Childhood Committee: Serves as a liaison between teachers & parents for Treasure Time for Two’s through Kindergarten. Plans specific activities throughout the year and fosters inclusivity to school & PTA events.
